“This record is way more involved than the first one. We’ve all worked on the stuff – it’s pure music, nothing else. I’ve put it together exactly as I want. We’re going a lot of places with this and it’s definitely my best work”.

So says British guitarist Stevie R. Pearce of his new album, which he hopes will be released this coming September supported by a UK tour. But first comes the release of new single and Video, Rip It Out, which Stevie is releasing himself and is scheduled to hit a device near you on all the usual digital platforms on June 20th, and which we are happy to include as the latest instalment in our video series Sentinel Daily Recommends

Comments Pearce: “The song is pretty angry… I love rock and roll, I love making music… but with love comes frustration.. some things had pissed me off the day I wrote it so I think that transpired in the lyrics. The band is now: Carl Donoghue, Lance Skybaby and Richard Jones. I’ve worked with Carl for over ten years. We formed the Black Bullets together and when the third incarnation of that band ended I saw an opportunity to get Lance and Carl with me and Rich.. We have a similar work ethic… We all live real close and the new album shows the four of us working as a unit. Its gnarly… we stick to what we are good at and don’t really pay any mind to anything else going on….”
