The latest installment in our Sentinel Daily Recommends series finds Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry in sparkling form with their new clip, Bad Habit!

With their new album Family Tree scoring rave reviews from Australia’s rock media, Black Stone Cherry have upped both the ante and the fun factor with the release of the video for Bad Habit, the second single from their upcoming sixth studio album just ahead of the album release. The clip sees the band transported back in time to 1988 to a local Battle of the Bands contest. The result? Check it out above!

Family Tree, described by Sentinel Daily‘s own Paul Kerr thusly: “As a follow up to the highly rated Kentucky, Family Tree is thirteen tracks of Black Stone Cherry doing what they do best- bluesy southern rock”, will be released this Friday, April 20 via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. And while it doesn’t look like Black Stone Cherry will have time for a repeat visit to Australia in 2018, due largely to a huge run of dates in the US and Europe – including Download UK and Nova Rock Vienna with more to be announced – the band are definitely keen for a return in 2019.
