Today (Friday, December 1st) sees the release of a new album from Eastern Sierra Black/Death Metal crew Valdur.

Divine Cessation is released on the Bloody Mountain Records label and features seven bloodied, snarling tracks whose creation stands upon a foundation built upon two decades’ worth of filth, sweat, and metal. Frighteningly fierce and eschewing trend-chasing nonsense, Divine Cessation is proudly devoid of triggers, click tracks, and Pro-Tools!

You can listen to the title track from the album – described by our very own black metal gargoyle Graham Goodge as being ‘rank with murkiness, despair and despondency’ here:

Divine Cessation was recorded at the Bloody Mountain Bunker by Valdur, mixed by Matthew (Sxuperion), and mastered by Dan at Morbid Mastering. The album’s excellent cover art comes courtesy of the superbly-named Farron Loathing.
