The latest in our Sentinel Daily Recommends series features Sydney heavies Dreamers Crime, and their new clip Here We Are

The band are set to release their debut album, No Compromise, on November 17th.

Following on from two years’ worth of writing and gigging in Australia, including opening a Rugby League pre-game show at ANZ stadium, the boys returned to the recording studio to lay down what became No Compromises.

Producers Stevie Knight and Dave Petrovic brought Dreamers Crime’s ideas and potential into reality. A melting pot of influences and ideas meshed together and out came an album that depicts the sound of a new era and style in song, an album that hits hard and pulls no punches.

Last month, they released the first taste of the album – I Believe in You, which came along with a film clip that follows a bunch of people who have received a mysterious flyer that leads them to the band playing and leads to an all-out-angry mosh!

Pete Repousis, frontman for the Sydney outfit, said that “Sometimes to get to where you wanna go, you have to say – fuck what others have to say and just go for it. People sometimes over-compromise and end up the person they don’t want to be or in a place they never wanted to be in. Sometimes, for the sake of your beliefs and your dreams, you have to say no. That is where the album name No Compromises came from. We didn’t want to compromise on this record and neither should our fans have to accept any less from us.”

Simon Kapsis, guitarist for Dreamers Crime says that “2018 is set to be a big year and releasing the album is just the beginning”. The band wants to go anywhere and everywhere after the release of their album at the end of 2017, and the rest is yet to come.”

No Compromises is available for pre-order on itunes, Spotify and Bandcamp from October 13th.
